LSU today picked up a commitment from Baylea Brandon out of Leander Texas
Currently #26 Prospect for 2021 but is expected to be in the top 20, possibly top 15 recruits in the next update
Her travel ball team is the Texas Blaze Futures.
She is a lefty hitter with major power.
Already has been recruited by Bama, OU, Baylor, A&M, Oregon, UCLA, Kansas, South Alabama, Mizzou.
With the offer list and the schools that have recruited her already you would assume top 10 prospect but expect her to continue to climb the rankings.
Congrats and welcome Baylea!
Here is some clips of her!

She plays 1B and can play anywhere in the OF. Extremely versatile but can essentially play anywhere.

Thats not cool to joke about
Well she technically is a HS freshman. I don't think we do this very often unless they are extremely gifted. I think Wickersham committed sometime in 8th grade.
I agree its ridiculous to recruit this early except everyone else does it as well and today you really have no choice if you want to bring in the big fish.
It is what it is, its like this for gymnastics as well.

Meanwhile, LSU is hoping to secure a commitment soon from 2031 prospect Ima Todler.

Hahaha Ima Todler. I like the part where the OP says "extremely versatile but can essentially play anywhere." So you're saying she's extremely well rounded, but good at more than one thing?

Coach looks like she could be related to Krzyzewski.

Also, Taryn Antoine was selected to the Louisville Slugger Hit Club. A select small group of the nations best hitters are named to this.
Taryn Antoine and Shelbi Sunseri have been swimming in all kinds of accolades these past few months between HS All American Honors and all.

It's crazy to me how big sports has become in this day and age. lol Softball recruits are now ranked and sought after. Back in the day kids would just go and participate and try out for sports like this in college. If you played it in HS they(the coaches) would encourage you to just come on out and play it for them in college, now they are jut as hotly recruited as football and basketball players, amazing, sign of the times. lol

Y'all are really stupid with the snarky sarcastic bullshite.
Most people no that 357 brings good info about lsu softball.
No need for this type of garbage.
What some people think is funny is just lame.

Some of these people must be miserable in life. If a top recruit committed to play for LSU baseball, basketball, or even football years out people would be wetting themselves over landing elite talent. I know nothing is official until they sign, but I don't understand why you can't be excited and pumped for what the future has to offer.
For the record, in college softball, decommitments aren't very common. These athletes aren't headcases looking for national attention and to be on TV and stir the pot. Most generally want to find a good school to get an education from and to find a program where they fall in love in. Once they find it, its strictly focused on being better players
