We've lost a ton to really expect a banner season.

Sure we lost a lot. But that was off a team that returned a ton. Had LSU lost the usual guys to the NFL the year before we would be sitting here talking about a historic amount of returning talent.

At every single position group we have veteran front line talent returning. That is a very rare situation. And our depth is very good except at inside linebacker.

I expect a very close game in Tuscaloosa to decide the West, and I expect a one loss regular season. I can grudgingly accept a two loss regular season if they are both respectable and we win the bowl game.

Wut

Like I just said, outside of Key we return 4 sacks total.

Our top 5 tacklers are gone

We had a paltry 9INTs last year. 6 are gone

6 of our top 7 pass catchers are gone from last year

Dude this isn't just a guy here or there. Collectively this presents a problem for 2017 despite the great young talent that we have on our roster.

Expecting a 2 loss season is setting up for disappoint. If that is what everyone thinks then Coach O is gonna get absolutely roasted when he more then likely won't warrant it.

This is for all intents & purposes a rebuilding year
