Doctors policy. He won't do them in the hospital, has to be an office visit. That was when they could schedule him.

The pediatrician for my son came in the next morning to do the procedure. He asked me if I wanted to watch and I respectfully declined. I have never seen a doctor not do the procedure very soon after the birth. I am assuming that the doctor doesn't have access (or whatever the term is) for the hospital.

Could be the hospital as well. Not all hospitals do circs. Many now make the parents have it done at the pediatrician's office. Just depends on the hospital.

Circs aren't covered by Medicaid so that could factor into it as well.
