Yes, he may be saying all of this because of his frustration, but it is true that these cars often don't produce good racing. There are a lot of things about these cars that take their performance out of the hands of the drivers and crews. Clean air for the leader is a huge advantage; 1.5 mile tracks have one groove in most cases; the cars are too template based, and there is little room to try new things to counter the problems.

No one can look at a race like tonight and say, "This is the product we are hoping for."

Clean air is huge. Always has and always will be.

The racing this season has been better than last year. The racing has been put more in the hands of the drivers because tire management has benn key all season.

Brad's comments tonight sure don't agree with with his results earlier in the season. He essentially dominated at Atlanta, a mile and a half track. He ran very well at Texas until the lastb20 or so laps where circumstances put him out of the top five but I think he still had a top five.

This was definitely not a "This is what we want race". But Brad is way off base and since Richmond Penske is struggling and he is speaking out because he is frustrated that they are running bad over all.

On another note, Kyle had lug nut(s) missing on the right rear. A penalty will be coming for the 18.
