Tried to watch it this weekend, man that is boring as frick.
It might have been the game they were playing or the people playing them, but it was not fun to watch.
I've never been into speedruns and I guess I never will be.
That being said, I love the fact of that they are raising money for those charities and I'm astounded by how much they raise.

quote:It has to be the right game. Some games are terrible to be watched speedruns. You can usually tell if it's a good game to watch or not by the size of the crowd behind them. Zelda, Metroid, Tetris, Mario, Donkey Kong, etc. are usually pretty safe bets.

Yea I don't see the enjoyment in it personally. I understand finishing these games as fast as possible, but these are the games I want to be immersive in
