These things take time. Athletically, we are Louisiana. I believe we have the right team in place to push this forward. The NCAA, Sunbelt Conference, ULM, and even ESPN is now on board. It also took people a while to start calling Nevada-Reno just Nevada after the change in branding. The battle is won.

That's true. No argument with you on that point. But let me ask you this: Is Nevada any better in athletics because of that? I don't think so.
