It's just the fact that Miles is now gone so these guys aren't just going to expect to get the proper coaching and what not to go to the next level. Think of it this way, Baylor before Briles, Okie St before Gundy, Clemson before Swinney, where were all those incredible NFL WR prospects? Now although Miles's offense was crap, he was doing something great to not only bring in these kids, but develop them into productive NFL players. LaFell was a 6'3 180lb 3 star WR, finished 30lbs heavier and had 1700 yards and 19 TDs in his last 2 years. Randle was an amazing athlete that needed to develop as a WR. Finished his junior year with over 900 yards and 8 TDs with mediocre QB play. Beckham (30-35lb gain) was another great athlete that needed to learn the game, and Landry (25-27lb gain) didn't even play at WR as a freshman. Both had pretty bad drop issues before their final year. Both had over 1100 yards (Landry nearly 1200) with Landry getting 10 TDs and Beckham 8, in their junior seasons. Both are breaking team, year, and all time NFL records. It's not a given, but I personally expect Dupre to breakout in Greenbay and Dural should do really good things with the Saints.

Ed O will have to reestablish that connection.
