I used to question the dropping of the atomic bombs. Then I read what they did to the rest of Asia and how they treated American PoWs. frick them, and frick the evil they committed. I'm not for the killing of Innocents; however, it's obvious given the surrounding facts even the civilians we're going to duke it out until the end.

Thinks that make you say hmmm. There were children in those pictures.
The first picture was Dresden btw, so a completely different thing.
Listen, this isn't even about whether or not the bombings were justified. They likely were. This is about a dumbass and group of dumbasses (or psychopaths, your choice) who make a thread to make light of instruments of mass death and slaughter. It's a promise that the people who actually participated in those wars and had to make those decisions were not so flippant about their role in the whole thing. It's just all so stupid and is a child's view of war. What makes America great isn't killing people in mass, like so many in this thread want to imply. Though I doubt they even bother to put that much thought and introspection into it.

I have never questioned it. I have, however, been to Hiroshima twice. The first time I went to the war memorial museum. While I felt like some of their plaques were historically inaccurate, it was still pretty sobering.
To scrape the surface of how sadistic they are though, I am linking to the wiki on The Nanking Massacre, or the rape of Nanking. It is a long read but worth it.
