God this board and arguing about states is endless. I love the mountains but hate the heat and don't really care for the beach. I wouldn't live in the frozen tundra either. The problem is that I really can't stand most liberals so that rules out a lot of those states. My job basically doesn't exist in metros under about 400k or so.

I also like being near my parents because they are 70 now and need help sometimes and my 2 girls get to know their grandparents. That's worth more than a Top Golf to me.

It's all just so damn subjective that it's an endless argument. Live where you are happy. We need a best states board.
