Well thats the rule. If you turn 21 before a certain date, you are eligible for the draft.
Baseball goes:
- Eligible for draft out of high school
- if you elect to go to juco, you are eligible after a year
- if you elect to go to a 4 year university you are eligible after 3 seasons, unless you turn 21 before a certain date (dont know the exact date, but I'm sure its not hard to find)

Basketball should adopt the baseball rules for college athletes...it would improve the college game tremendously.

I hate the age rule. It pretty much guarantees players are gone after JR year, if they've been drafted for their 2nd time.
