Why is it some big scoop if someone who is in someway connected to CNN says something about Russia? So what if Van Jones said this. He might very well at some point said something similar on the air along the lines of "The Democrats should not overplay the Russian issue and should remember voters care mostly about economics" or something.

Per CNN's own website, he is "a CNN political commentator, regularly appearing across the network's programming and special political coverage."
