re: Thoughts on the quality of the umpiring

Umps were terrible all tourney.

Strikezones all over the place.
Fair foul calls they couldn't get right.
Safe/out at 1st.


The call at 2nd was correct....but the rule is dumb. The run should score.
UF had a similar issue in SR vs Wake. Shallow fly to CF and OFer drops ball on the exchange. 1 ump rules carch drop one rules no catch.
Base runners had tagged up and moved but were forced to return to their bag. Correct call; bad rule.

Biggest issue that went against LSU was the missed strike on the bunt attempt they called a ball. How do 6 umps liss that?
