Despite the original post this is absolutely a great thread.
I would clarify that I think of it as a play that when the play started everyone assumed one thing would happen, but at the end of the play something completely opposite happened that immediately and significantly changed the win possibility of the teams.
Personally witnessed, Tracy Porter's interception of Farve in the 4th quarter of the NFC title game when the Vikings were essentially in field goal range.
