You see effort to break it up at any point in an MLB game if it's a close play..you see much more aggressive slides at different times. I realize that college baseball has different rules, although I don't understand why.

I wish the sliding rules were the same.

But a runner on 1st in the 8th in the Majors most likely knows to get down and out of the way because the hitter literally tied that damn game.

It was a sacrifice.

Double play for the tie.

DONT SLIDE IN HARD.
