Take a guy like A Washington for example. The kid makes play after play, tackles with form, plays with field awareness, ball hawk, he just makes plays. He's small but gets the job done and more. He is the type of player we need but he isn't a 5*.

Some guys just make plays and we have a ton of those type of recruits right now. Who's to say that he won't be the difference in a ball game, or many for that matter. No one is saying you don't need All Americans or a ton of them. LSU does have the bigger type so you put a play maker in the middle of them and you have a dog of a team. You absulutly do NOT have to be the fastest, quickest, strongest guy out there. You need key traits for key positions. This staff is looking for those traits that fit their positions. You never know how a player develops physically so if they have the natural football traits already in them, take them and develop them physically to become stars. It's really about mixing players, their attitude, smarts, and yes their ability as well.

They are taking who they think will be All Americans in college at LSU. Some of these guys will stick, some will rise, some will fall, and we'll add some but most of these guys are really good football players. GT

I hate to even ask this (didnt read the thread) but I have been to Many/Sabine Parish and know a few people from that area, are grades/ACT going to be an issue?

This is right, but you still need some big time guys to fill out the roster. Almost all of our impact guys last year were 4* and 5* players except Duke Riley. We need the Jamal Adams and Leonard Fournette's of the world to get us to a championship level
