Some of these are never going to be a good example to challenge lost. The Wire was a good show but nothing about it was original. A cop show where they fought drug crime in the hood where the main character was damaged and a alcoholic? Sorry that story has been writing 100 times on every cop show. GOT was a book. The Sopranos is very typical gangster movies with the psychology angle written in.


Lost made people use their minds and did not lay everything out on a silver platter. Who knows how many seasons was originally written and how it got there but the writing took you to places no other story has and was the biggest thing going till it ended.

There were loose ends but every story has them and there was so much to the story, there was no way to tie everything up and lay everything out for you. I am not sure what type of ending people were looking for that would have satisfied them
