It's troubling, but there is one major thing to realize...these are commits, not scholarships. People will come and people will go. If people think we aren't still going hard for the top elite are delusional. A 5-star won't run from us because of a 3-star....the 3-star will leave if we sign the 5-star. It's ok to have backups first instead of vice versa.

Remember Etienne last year? What would have happened if we offered him in May, and he committed. Then we still went for Akers, but we missed. I like this tactic more. You can still recruit elite players hard while getting fallback players to commit.
