re: I do trust the coaches judgement on these kids

The reason kids are rated 4 and 5 stars is because they have dominated for a few years in high school and at different camps/all-star games etc..This to me is looking like Coach O and the coaching staff is getting lazy.I understand that there is a potential j. hester or m. claiborne every few years but over the last 15 years how many of LSU's starters were 3 star guys out of high school.
I know lsu is loaded this year but are they doing this because they figure these guys will develop in 2 to 3 years? In this day and age you need freshman to step up and play immediately for depth and right now this class concerns me offering before they even have had a senior year to show if they are the real deal.
