Hype says sees the floor, pass first, better shooter than jason kidd (which was true of me and 50% of td posters who played aau.)

Not that hard to live up to that hype.
The negativity about ball release point is real.
His shot has low release. Who guesses that opening game vs warriors, iguadala blocks ball twice in first 5 minutes they are on court.

That boy is in for a rude awakening.

The hype is about seeing court. Seems legit.

Ball is rubio.2.

Not all that high of a bar.
His dad is the main hypester.

Except for the fact that he shot 55%, including 41% from three. Way better shooter than Rubio.

" Experts" over think this stuff at times . Just as Jerry West not wanting Magic Johnson in the draft probably because Magic had no jumpshot and not so good perimeter defense .

Ball seems to have " it" . Doesn't need to be a HOF ,but his court vision / willingness to give the ball up makes for an attractive teammate.
