I'll always recommend a Yota, I've owned both the Tacoma and Tundra, both exceptional trucks.

Just got a Tundra from Price Leblanc. Shopped a F-150 and Sierra, couldnt be happier with the Tundra and whole experience at PL. Couple of points based on others' comments:

Tundra double cab has plenty of room for car seats in the back. I wanted a longer bed instead of the crewmax cabin.
Guzzles gas like a frat boy on Natty Light.
Had a '84 Yota 4x4 in high school (mid-90s), COULD NOT tear it up, and we tried
5.7 V8 is pure power. so much torque that I can spin out without trying on wet pavement when the light turns green
there's a lot of threads on the OB that discusses F-150 timing chain issues @ around 70k-80k miles.

ETA: we use my wife's SUV for road trips so the MPG doesnt affect me too bad ....until hunting season gets here I guess...
