I'm going pretty nerd here, but Max Payne was a badass video game with a cool story. The movie was steaming hot garbage. Very disappointed.
As far as adaptations from novels, Interview With a Vampire was underwhelming. Also "It" didn't pan out as well on the big screen for me. Hopefully The Dark Tower is done right

League of Extraordinary Gentleman was an awesome comic series and Hollywood wiped their collective arse with every page.
