I'm not in any way saying I don't want him as a starter. But being a lights out closer doesn't necessarily mean you'll be an effective starter. Obviously he deserves a look and will get a look as a starter

For same reason Rivera was not a starter for the Yankees and will be in Hall of Fame as the best reliever of all time.

When he was used as a starter, his velocity was in the upper 80's by the 5th inning. Every time he comes in the game, the commentators talk about how much he improved once he was moved to the pen because he could just go in the game and "sling it". Why is everyone hell bent on moving him to the rotation and thinking he's the next Noah Syndergaard?
