Safariland is probably the best bang for the buck for open carry holsters.

You can spend more and get more holster, but the increased costs are probably not worth it from a pure cost/benefit analysis.

I'm not as familiar with 7TS - the main difference between the ALS and the GLS is the release. ALS probably requires a few more reps to "get it" - and at the same time offers better retention from someone else trying to draw it. The GLS is a more modern design and probably better from a pure ease and tactical application standpoint.

Either choice is top notch.
