Any company that sells trucks in Europe or really anywhere else in the world, likely has a small diesel already. Just not in the USA. So its not like this is a huge thing for Ford to do. The key in say Europe is that diesel is cheaper over there so it makes more sense, they don't tax it as much because it burns cleaner or whatever.
Unless they can put out something like 30+ mph, I just don't see the usefulness of it? I'd guess its only sold in higher end packages with the other makes because its more of a luxury right now unless gas prices change.
