GW Fins Review

Made it GW Fins for the first time on Sunday. Brought my dad for dinner. He loves seafood. I was going to stick with Peche but decided to try GW Fins.
We got a crab cake to start. We both thought this was exceptional.
Everything was great. The chicken skin crust on the sheepshead was very flavorful. The sheepshead was supposed to come with sweet potatoes, beans, and mushrooms, but the waitress hooked me up with the prep of the parmesan crusted drum with the asparagus and crabmeat instead.
Definitely looking forward to going back and trying something else. Their Scalibut signature dish sounds interesting, may get that next time.
Not quite an Arse-worthy spread of food, but he had an early reservation and had a decent sized lunch not too much earlier.

We had our office revillion there a couple of times. Was always impressed that the entire party of two twenty-top tables had their food served at the same time and everyone's seafood dish was cooked spot-on perfect. Not to mention all the other office parties at the same time was being served at the same level. Fins is good seafood.

It may not be the best restaurant in the city, but it's a good bet that it is the most consistent. Never a bad meal there for us.

I've been just once, but it was very good. One of the better meals I've had in recent years.
