Because I never do bench press. I do crossfit, and that isn't a lift we do. But clean and jerks and so on, happens regularly. I honestly don't know why I am better with a shoulder press other than me just doing much more shoulder work (hand stand push-ups, push press, clean and jerk, etc), but I am being honest.
The only time I do bench press is when i go use the school gym on Sundays. And I'll put like 135 and do sets of 15. Maybe I can do more on bench, but I just haven't done that in a while. I did 225 a few months ago and barely got it up twice. It's just not something I do often.
