Tampa is the city and Tampa Bay is the body of water and the name of the region. Scientologists have taken over Clearwater which is across the Bay.
To the OP. The Bay area as a whole and Tampa specifically have all that is needed for a good "quality of life" move. Like I've said many times on here the only down side to our community is that it is very transient. Folks get moved down here for work and then move out a couple years later. Cool if you don't mind meeting new folks. WELCOME!
