I still don't understand how this could have happened given how many people aboard are responsible for making sure this doesn't occur. A dozen people must have overlooked their duties.

At least a dozen careers are over, and all will be lucky if they're not looking down the barrel of an Article 92.

and again, im genuinely not trying to start anything, but Im assuming youre Navy and know more about this than I do, so I just want to make sure Im understanding you correctly.
