I know you're trying to make a point here but to say that you dont get s better education at an IVY league school vs LSU is false and a broad statement.
It varies widely with the programs offered. For example, UPenn and UVA have leading undergrad business schools that are highly
Competitive (you have to apply after your first year) and are treated like MBA programs. Although I will interject that I've heard the accounting program at LSU is in the upper echelon. Engineering programs may be pretty similar because the coursework is standard. At that point though, you are still dealing with differences in class size. Additionally, the strength of your class mates will be noticeably different. There's an enrichment with simply being around a "culled" group
of students. The talent level is ridiculous.
Let me put it this way. UVA difficulty was an order of magnitude above Tulane. And Tulane was an order of magnitude more difficult than LA Tech.
