Went in March last year. Did Angel's Landing and the Narrows. The Narrows was so cold my feet were literally numb. But you should be fine this time of the year.
It's much hotter now. Just got back from a trip to Moab and it was 100 during the peak of the day.
My advice in Zion is to camp in the park if you can and to hit the trail first thing in the morning. It can get so crowded. I did Angel's Landing at the arse crack of dawn and it was great. But on the way down there were so many people and some bottlenecks. They also don't allow vehicles inside the park - they have a shuttle system that runs throughout the park. Good or bad depending on the way you look at it.
Bryce Canyon is super close to Zion, go there for a day if you can.
