Actually, there are well-established endocrine conditions that cause discordance between genotypic and phenotypic sex - such as androgen insensitivity syndrome. Look it up some time. In that particular condition, individuals have XY chromosomes but appear female.
Is it so hard to believe that there could be a similar psychiatric condition?
My personal philosophy is to live and let live. As long as the individual is a happy and self-sufficient citizen, I have no problem with it.

So..... did you get it removed or do you just tuck it?
