Offshore landing permit for State Waters this free fishing weekend

can't find anything about it. Since this weekend is Louisiana Free fishing weekend, does one need to be in possession of this permit?

Fishing licenses bought in the month of June are good until next July.

Just spoke with LDWF enforcement agent of Lafourche parish. He said OSLP will be required and checked THIS WEEKEND.

Everyone with me has a license but That sucks for people who ar taking advantage of the good weather and going offshore.
