You know good and well Beth didn't ask other players to ask one to leave and one to stay. If that were the case she should be run out of town yesterday for being unfit for the job. As for Howard....if his tweet is true...be careful what you say Howard. There are a lot of people that know a lot about softball in these threads. If true, your arrogance isn't appreciated, especially after the year we had at the plate overall. Be humble, acknowledge there is a lot of work to be done. It will get you much farther than criticizing fabs who have genuine interest and respect for the program. All coaches can improve. We all can.

And trying to beat Oklahoma in their back yard is a daunting task. It's a road game. Even though they were the ten seed this year they had great pitching and their hitters came thru in the clutch. Especially the girl who was MVP. She was on fire. Anytime Oklahoma makes it there they will be tough to beat. We experienced that last year. Savannah hits a 3 run HR to tie the game and then boom they answer back with 3 runs. I don't see anyone beating them when they get to the Finals. LSU has had a great three year run. Replacing the seniors will be tough. But I thought the same thing last year and we ended up right back in OKC.

Yeah ya right.
We got there on pitching this year, and some timely hits. We didnt have the team to win it all... but no matter what has happened all year, when it comes to the end of the season, Beth and LSU are in OKC. We can credit the coach and the team, but I really think its the coach who has consistently gotten this team further than it deserved to go.

Well I signed up because this has turned into a troll board, by certain players, players families/friends, etc...that's all this is. You guys can't figure out who Ashlyn is? Seriously....? The players that have announced transfer, I wish them well....and understand...most of the bs on this site is by friends/former coaches/family of one player....y'all can guess.

Hi New Iberia. I grew up there, then 5 years Lafayette, then 7 years Baton Rouge area and then Houston area since. Welcome to board. You are totally contributing to LSU softball. Shout out to New Iberia and area. Thanks for your posts. Have read them all. LSU is totally my team also.
I don't either. However, seems that I heard one ESPN announcer talk about a conversation she had with her good friend Ashley something or other (maybe Ducote, maybe not - I replayed several times), the coach at Parkview Baptist HS, about a week or so ago. Forgot the details of the ESPN on air ramble during an LSU softball or other game. Then I remembered that Nicky Dawson was a freshman from Parkview.
Then a light switch flipped in my mind. Ashlyn on Tiger Rant? Naaah. Probably not. Probably no connection. What do I know? Wiggle room with plausible deniability.
I agree with prior posters, many (if not all) of our excellent softball team's players read these threads. Jennlsu, keep posting excellent posts...

I think that the girls must be aware that there are thousands of fans who love and appreciated their efforts and think highly of them. It's a few who come on here who maybe dislike softball or are closet opponents fans who are jealous and trying to hurt the program. I think of some who have that great response, "hey it's softball, who cares". Well I for one have discovered that there are many more fans of softball than I thought. Most do care.
I believe we should be patient with the coaches and let them iron out any problems if there are any. How can you be critical of the results so far?
