Americans on average are fatter

Not to mention the quality of food over there is much better, unless you are shopping a whole foods.

If you live in a dense population centers in the US, many people don't drive everywhere as well. Not really a choice when you live in a rural area. But then again people living in rural areas in Europe have to drive as well.

Even if you take out dense population centers, most European towns are built so the residents can walk everywhere.
