My Pops worked for BP at the time of the spill (He was based onshore). Didn't see him for about a year because he was so busy after the explosion.
One thing I got from the entire situation, being that I had inside info from my dad, is that the media says what they want to say and really shouldn't be whole heartily trusted.

I think we all already knew that but he parlayed it into statewide elected office.
