That's what a couple of eyewitnesses are saying over there.
I know a few people from my old days over there and that's what's being said.
ETA - they're saying that's why the cops started shooting, once he hit the child and kept going.

Oh shite. WAFB (TV) just reported that "Shooting first,then pursuit". But, there appears to be a lot of misinformation
