Corbyn and Labour hit her hard repeatedly and she never really responded.

She never seemed to have any urgency over this. It's as if she almost felt that she was entitled to a good result.

It never really mattered if they lost seats or not. The Ulster Unionists would always be there to shore up the Tories.

The cold hard truth for Labour is, this was their shot and because Corbyn is their Leader, they never had a chance in hell.

Maybe, just maybe, the dream team of Crosby and Messina isn't all it's cracked up to be.

Crosby should have been kicked to the side of the curb after the London election

No. This is wrong. DUP was treated like a pariah and nobody really ever had this in the back of their mind. This DUP alliance is a desperate times/desperate measures type of thing. It must be remembered that DUP has strong terrorist ties. This is also huge in messing up the peace process (now the UK government can't say they are impartial). Also, DUP is anti-homosexual and is now causing friction with a resurgent Scot Conservative Party led by a lesbian veteran. Need I remind you, that it was Ruth Davidsons (the lesbian) leadership in Scotland that saved the Tories last night. If it wasn't for her, the Tories would have fared much worse.

This is a very tenuous alliance. One that was never seen as a fallback.
