I know the numbers are against me and chicks dig the long ball but I prefer to watch the contact style. Three true outcome baseball is, IMO, boring as shite relative to balls in play.

I agree it's boring, but you need a mix of guys on the team to succeed.
You need your OBP guys at the top of you order and you need some contact guys around the 5-6 hole in case 3-4 don't get the job done of driving them in. Sorry, but a 2 out walk with a runner on 3rd does jack shite when the next guy gets out.
THe astros had nothing but three true outcome players (aside from Altuve). They're much better this year now that they've gotten away from that.
I see the Cubs struggling at the plate in the future along with the Jays too because they have too many K lovers in their lineup.
