It's really just a perfect combination that allows pitbulls to do shite like this. The breed is already (generally) more aggressive than other dogs. Combine that with the fact that a LARGE percentage of pitbull owners are some of the trashiest frickers you'll find in any community and you get tragedies like this.

I'm sure their are many pitbull owners who are good owners and their dogs never bother a soul. Likewise, I'm sure their are shitty owners who have some other breed that will attack every human they see. But for whatever reason, trashy people seem to gravitate towards pitbulls, which leads to a toxic combination.
