The last episode when Winters says what each of the men did after the war gets me every time. An amazing group of men I wish I could have met.
I've had the great privilege of taking care of WWII vets at the VA. One was in the 101st and was in the D-day invasion. Definitely a different generation that will likely never occur again.

One of my great regrets is not visiting more with a neighbor I had growing up who was at the Battle of the Bulge. I did not do so it until he was very old and found that he fought and was injured there. Very cool old fellow. Nothing ever seemed to faze him I understand why now.
