Yeah, if all they handle are traffic tickets, it seems like it wouldn't be worth it.
Most people aren't getting multiple tickets a year so there are already mechanisms that courts (or Tigerdroppings) will be more than happy to tell you about to avoid points and/or jacked up insurance rates when fortune doesn't smile on you while driving the highway once every 5 or 6 years.
