Ummm....this is already a requirement. There are a few listed exceptions to the work requirement.
Not sure what you (and mulvaney) are going on about.
SNAP recipients are required to work

I guess you think that clause is actually enforced too don't you?

I work for the school system, I guarantee you that the rule speak of is not enforced, at all!

Ugh, not it is not. You need to read what you linked again and do a little research.
"Meeting Work Requirements" as defined by the USDA does not equal an actual requirement to work...

From link-
80 hrs or volunteer work?
Yeah, this doesn't encourage abuse at all.

Most SNAP participants who can work, do work.

To be eligible beyond the time limit, an ABAWD must work at least 80 hours per month, participate in qualifying education and training activities at least 80 hours per month, or comply with a workfare program. Workfare means that ABAWDs can do unpaid work through a special State-approved program. For workfare, the amount of time worked depends on the amount of benefits received each month.

Yeah, and I bet SSI only goes to people actually disabled

And it is policed every bit as thoroughly as our immigration laws.

I'm not sure why you are getting downvotes for posting this. It's called the Able-bodied and without dependents (ABAWD) requirement and requires that anyone who is not determined to be disabled, incapacitated/unable to work, or caring for a child under 6, is required to work register and seek work employment in order to qualify for SNAP benefits.
Now, it's true that this ABAWD requirement was suspended for a time beginning in 2008/2009, after the market crash, due to high unemployment it has started being phased back in by the states. Kentucky for example reintroduced ABAWD requirements in 2016. I don't believe that every state has restarted ABAWD requirements but it is a federal requirement per the federal Food and Nutrition Services Agency (FNS) which oversees the SNAP program.
ETA: I will add that it is fairly easy to get around the ABAWD requirements but they are there.
