My wife was one of the biggest culprits on that first one. It was like being in basic training all over again. Like I said some feelings got hurt, but now we play it by ear and everyone is happier. Sometimes I will commit me and the kids to being in a certain place at a certain time to help keep everyone happy. Things like pictures in front of the castle at a certain time or one show of her choice, otherwise we do what the kids want to do.
Don't give up. Make a stand. In the end everyone will be less stressed and lots happier.
