3 more men have been arrested, that brings the total to 4 including the 23 year old brother of the bomber.

Three men have been arrested this morning following the horrific attack on Monday night.

It is believed the arrests were made in Aston Avenue, Fallowfield.

Neighbours on the street have said that they saw police raids in the area on Wednesday morning.

This follows the arrest of a 23-year-old man yesterday.

Greater Manchester Police have said: "Three men have been arrested after police executed warrants in South Manchester, in connection with the ongoing investigation into Monday night’s horrific attack at the Manchester arena. "

Prime Minister Theresa May has raised the UK's threat level to 'critical' as hundreds of troops have been deployed to the streets.

The bomber was named as Salman Abedi by the police.

Cops arrest another terror suspect at Stansted Airport – but unconnected to Manchester bombing
quote:

A MAN was quizzed by counter-terror cops after being arrested at Stansted Airport on suspicion of preparing for acts of terrorism.

Officers from the MPS Counter Terrorism Command swooped on the 37-year-old man on Tuesday night, moments before he boarded a flight to Turkey.

He was arrested on suspicion of preparing for acts of terrorism contrary to Section 41 of the Terrorism Act 2000.

It comes as the UK is on alert after the terror threat was raised to “critical” following Monday night’s Manchester Arena suicide bomb attack.

It means authorities expect another attack “imminently”.

The man was taken to a south London police station where he is being detained under the Terrorism Act.

Officers are now searching two homes in north London.

This arrest is linked to travel to Syria, but cops said it was not linked to Monday’s attack in Manchester.
