Lean = find waste (usually time/waiting)
Six Sigma = avoid defects (quality)
most companies will benefit from the lean

I'll agree with this.
Finding "waste" is a mindset too. I think that is more the goal of the program, at least internally at my company. They want everyone to always be looking for ways to increase efficiency.
