If the FBI is not investigating, has never had in its possession the laptop, how exactly does an FBI agent rummage through it during their investigation? As Wheeler's source/non-source claimed?

And given Wheelers incredible string of contradictory statements and multiple independent outlets discrediting his claims, why should Wheeler be trusted in the first place at this point?

To come to the conclusion Wheeler, who can't seem to even trust himself anymore, is trustworthy, requires a person to set aside any rational judgement of the situation.
