We watched Ice Pirates a few years ago and it was still hilarious. Totally 80's, but still funny.
My answer to this question is always Monster Squad. I really liked this movie in the 80's, but damn is it stupid. My kids even thought it was bad.

No, The Pirate Movie was a parody of the Pirates of Penzance. I too really liked it as a kid and thought several scenes were hilarious, but I'm pretty sure it'd be horrible if I saw it now.
