Breaking News: Landrieu is the President of the Sewage and Water Board, but he never attended a meeting. He always sent his aides to the meeting in his place for 7 years. The alarming part is that Landrieu said he was not informed, wasn't given the right information and proceeded to make more excuses. If Landrieu did his job and worked on the pumping issue and attended the meetings, he would have the information instead of pursuing national interest and wasting time effort and money taking down statues.

Maybe that's breaking news to outsiders... but anyone in the know has known this for years. And to be fair... Nagin and Morial didn't attend either.
