Wasn't he killed before the leaks were out? In July of '16

and Wikileaks released the Podesta emails in Oct and Nov of '16


The culprits/DNC knew he
1 Was openly in opposition of Hillary nomination
2 In contact with Wikileaks
3 Had access to or taken sensitive info


He was killed to prevent the leaks. Not retribution for leaks. They had no idea what the damage would be at the time, or that it had already been done. It was preventative measures.
