No it's not. Breakdown usually starts in between 150-200k miles.
Save your $2000 to get your AC fixed during this time. You'll thank me later

More people than not will have 1500$ or more worth of repairs covered under a bumper to bumper warranty by 100k miles. If you are spending 40000$ on a vehicle and plan on keeping it it 100k, it makes perfect financial sense to get a warranty on it. The more expensive the vehicle, the costlier the parts and labor.
